About Trading Digits
Cryptocurrency market data and analysis, online since 2023
What Trading Digits Is
Trading Digits is a cryptocurrency market data and analysis platform that provides traders and analysts with real-time technical indicators, derivatives market data, and on-chain metrics across the digital asset market.
Launched in 2023, the platform brings together more than sixty analytical tools in a single interface, covering technical screeners, derivatives dashboards, market cycle models, and Bitcoin on-chain indicators. Data is sourced directly from major cryptocurrency exchanges and public blockchain infrastructure, and is refreshed continuously as new market data becomes available.
What the Platform Covers
Tools on Trading Digits are organised into five areas:
- Technical Analysis — multi-timeframe screeners across the market, including the RSI heatmap, EMA/SMA crossovers, Bollinger Bands, Supertrend, volatility, candlestick patterns, and relative volume.
- Aggregated Data — derivatives and cross-exchange market data, including funding rates, open interest, a liquidation heatmap, long/short ratios, gainers and losers, and exchange volume and fee comparisons.
- Market Cycle — longer-horizon valuation and cycle models such as the Pi Cycle indicators, Mayer Multiple, rainbow chart, power law and stock-to-flow models, and the 2-year MA multiplier.
- On-chain Analytics — Bitcoin network and holder metrics including hashrate, mining difficulty, MVRV Z-score, NUPL, realised price and cap, coin days destroyed, Puell multiple, and hash ribbons.
- Trading Calculators & Tools — position sizing, cost averaging, market cap scenarios, gas fees, an economic calendar, and spot ETF flow tracking.
A configurable alerts system sits alongside the tools, delivering notifications when an indicator, price level, or screener condition is met — either for a single asset or across the whole market.
Where the Data Comes From
Market data is collected directly from exchange APIs and public blockchain data providers rather than resold from a single aggregator. Current sources include:
- Exchange market data — Binance spot and futures, OKX, Bybit, Gate.io, Bitget, and KuCoin, covering prices, candles, trading volume, funding rates, and open interest.
- Market capitalisation and asset reference data — LiveCoinWatch and CoinGecko.
- Bitcoin network data — mempool.space, for block, hashrate, and difficulty metrics.
- Ethereum network data — public Ethereum node and explorer APIs, for gas price and network activity.
Update frequency varies by data type. Price, candle, and derivatives data refresh in near real time as exchanges publish it. On-chain and market cycle metrics update on the cadence of the underlying chain or dataset, typically daily.
Data Accuracy and Methodology
Indicators are calculated from exchange candle data using standard, publicly documented formulas — including the Relative Strength Index, simple and exponential moving averages, Bollinger Bands, Supertrend, and relative volume. Values are recalculated as new candles close, so readings on shorter timeframes update more frequently than those on longer ones.
Where an asset is listed under a different symbol on a given exchange, or is delisted or suspended, it is filtered out rather than carried forward, so that stale quotes do not appear in screener results.
Independence
Trading Digits is an independently operated platform and has been maintained continuously since 2023. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any exchange or data provider named on this page.
The platform is funded through an optional paid tier and through advertising. Advertising and sponsored placements are labelled as such and do not influence the data shown in any tool, the ordering of screener results, or the calculation of any indicator.
